The confectionery company’s latest channel-exclusive products are highlighted through engaging visual displays

MALAYSIA. Swiss chocolate specialist Maestrani has unveiled its travel retail-exclusive Munz & Avelines chocolates at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in partnership with Eraman.

The launch is being promoted through a colourful pop-up activation showcasing the brand’s Munz Kids & Travel range, including Munz Ladybird, Unicorn and Aeroplane.

In line with its strategy to deliver premium, exclusive products, the company has introduced its Avelines Premium Swiss chocolates in Asia through a collaboration between Maestrani and Singapore-based Kaimay Trading.

Originally made in 1922, Avelines pralines have grown to be a popular choice for premium Swiss chocolates, served in Switzerland’s Palace hotels and gourmet restaurants.

The latest addition to the range is the Avelines Princesses, launched at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes last year.

This new offer features a distinctive flavour with high-quality almonds from California, as well as carefully selected cocoa beans, which form the base of its cocoa paste. It is also made with Swiss whole milk, roasted almond slivers and real Madagascan Bourbon ground vanilla, imparting its balanced flavour and aromas.

The almonds and chocolate blend to bring out the full taste of the pralines.

The chocolates are made using natural Fairtrade cocoa, with no alcohol.

Returning to the Cannes show this year, the company will be showcasing its bestselling collections at Mediterranean Village, P10.

With a history spanning over 170 years, Maestrani’s brand portfolio has continued to expand and now includes popular names Munz, Avelines and Minor, manufactured in Flawil, Switzerland.

Maestrani was the first chocolate manufacturer to exclusively use certified cocoa, and produced the world’s first organic chocolate in 1987, the company noted. ✈
