US beauty powerhouse Coty has unveiled Marc Jacobs Perfect Elixir, supported by the ‘Perfect as I Am’ campaign shot by German photographer Juergen Teller.
The fragrance is now available in travel retail across Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific. Its packaging pays homage to vintage perfume boxes with the carton featuring the original illustration of the Perfect bottle from New York-based artist Jacky Blue.
According to the brand, the scent emphasises “the clarity and confidence gained through self-love, empowering us to affirm our whole being”.
The reimagined Perfect bottle takes inspiration from American fashion designer Marc Jacobs’ love for combining everyday elements to create something new and distinctive.
The lilac liquid is sealed in the Perfect bottle, adorned with a metallic cap featuring multiple charms handpicked by Jacobs.
IFF Senior Perfumer Domitille Michalon Bertier crafted the eau de parfum, featuring purple rhubarb and amber wood accords, and vanilla bean extract.
The ‘Perfect as I Am’ campaign showcases a diverse cast and illustrates the link between past, present and future in self-love and self-expression.
Marc Jacobs noted: “The campaign is a bold and visually exciting new approach to the Perfect franchise, providing a natural continuation of what it stands for: aspiration, inclusion and inspiration.” ✈
