Eyewear specialist Marcolin Group has partnered with sustainability platform Positive Luxury to sponsor the first edition of the Positive Luxury Awards next year. The ceremony will take place on 25 February in London, where the group will present the award for ‘Innovation of the Year.’
Positive Luxury is a sustainability platform that links luxury brands with various sustainability programmes and organisations. According to the company, its ‘Butterfly Mark’ has become a ‘symbol of trust’ which is awarded to luxury brands that have taken concrete steps towards a more sustainable future.

Some noteworthy jury members include: ‘The New Green Consumer Guide’ Author Julia Hailes, Business for Social Responsibility Managing Director Elisa Niemtzow, British Fashion Council Advisory Board member Frances Corner, Model and Activist Arizona Muse and Business Writer and Advisor John Elkington.
Actress and Activist Amber Valletta, Parsons School of Design Dean of Fashion Burak Cakmak, Communications Writer and Consultant Emma Young, Journalist Isabelle Lefort and Imagine Co-founder and International Chamber of Commerce Chair Paul Polman are also part of the jury.
Marcolin Group will be sponsoring the ‘Positive Luxury Innovation of the Year’ award. The award recognises industry innovators that have adopted cutting-edge sustainability strategies and have enacted large scale internal and external improvements to their environmental performance.
