Managing Director of SSP UK’s airports division Simon Turl: “The Marks & Spencer Simply Food store at London Luton Airport has been designed to make the very best food ranges more accessible to customers in a convenient location”UK. A new Marks & Spencer Simply Food store has opened at London Luton Airport. The store is the second Marks & Spencer’s Simply Food airport store, opened in partnership with travel catering specialist SSP.
Simon Turl, Managing Director of SSP UK’s airports division, and Kathryn James, Managing Director of London Luton Airport, officially declared the new store open. The ceremony was followed by competitions and promotions throughout the day for passengers and airport staff.
The 3,000sq ft store is in Arrivals, and conveniently located for both airport passengers and workers. It stocks over 800 quality food products and select grocery items, including ready meals, fresh produce, salads, sandwiches and flowers. The store also has a comprehensive wine selection. It is open from 6.00am to 10.00pm, seven days a week.
Turl said: “We are delighted to be able to offer a Marks & Spencer Simply Food store at London Luton Airport. We know many travellers and airport staff want to be able to buy Marks & Spencer food more regularly, more easily and locally. The store has been designed to make the very best food ranges more accessible to customers in a convenient location, giving them an opportunity to buy quality food items.”
