Marlboro Premium Black makes Asian debut in Beijing and Shanghai airports

Marlboro Premium Black has made its Asian debut exclusively in Beijing and Shanghai airports, following its successful launch in the Middle East.

This high-end premium product offer from Philip Morris International Duty Free is said to be a response to the emerging Chinese legal age smoker’s preferences for luxurious and exclusive travel retail goods.

The Marlboro Premium Black launch at Beijing Capital International Airport features an attention-grabbing lighted silhouette of a Ferrari 458, designed by Pininfarina

Marlboro Premium Black consists of the finest selected tobacco leaves, blended to deliver a smooth and mellow taste sensation. Designed by Pininfarina, the Italian car design firm behind Ferrari, the pack features ProFresh – an automatic seal that preserves cigarette quality and freshness, and allows the pack to be opened and closed in one move.

At Beijing Capital International Airport, the promotional stand on the concourse features an attention-grabbing lighted silhouette of a Ferrari 458. The stand also showcases other works of art designed by Pininfarina through physical and digital display.

“Legal aged smokers are then invited to the duty free retail outlet to receive a complimentary gift and discover more about the Marlboro Premium Black exclusive product offer,” said Philip Morris International Duty Free Director Marketing Svetlana Konovalenko.
