USA. WHSmith company Marshall Retail Group (MRG) has named Dan Parsons its new Divisional Vice President of Business Development.
Parsons brings 20 years of experience of working in the airport concessions business, including 12 years with MBC Concessions, where he served as Vice President for Operations and Development.
He has led the development of numerous brands in the airport space, including those run by ACDBE (Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) companies. His roles have included a stint as Vice President of Business Development with Areas USA.
In his new position, he will be in charge of the business development of MRG and its sister company, electronic retailer InMotion, in airports across the Eastern United States.
In a LinkedIn post, Parsons’ new employer said: “Marshall Retail Group/InMotion, WHSmith companies, proudly announce Dan Parsons as Divisional Vice President of Business Development to further lead the company’s exponential airport growth.” ✈
