Martell Cordon Bleu celebrates modernity in new art campaign

New Modern Masters campaign: Through Bruno Aveillan’s vision, the Martell Cordon Bleu bottle is set in a space-turned-gallery bathed by light

Cognac house Martell has revealed the third chapter of its Martell Cordon Bleu Modern Masters campaign featuring photographer Bruno Aveillan.

Modern Masters is an “˜Advertising-as-art’ series dedicated to Martell Cordon Bleu through the vision of selected artists. It began with Paolo Roversi in 2007, followed by Miles Aldridge’s reinvention of the Cordon Bleu lifestyle in 2009.

Today, Bruno Aveillan’s unconventional approach takes the brand’s modernity to the next level, according to Pernod Ricard.

Through Aveillan’s vision, the Martell Cordon Bleu bottle is set in a space-turned-gallery and bathed by the warm glow of light installations. Moving silhouettes converse against a backdrop of modern art, revealing an elegant, urban allure.

“Aveillan’s work perfectly embodies Martell Cordon Bleu’s luxury stature while staying true to its heritage and convivial spirit,” said Martell International Marketing Director Charles-Armand de Belenet.

“Moving with the times, Martell continues to celebrate visionaries like Aveillan, who embraces creativity. The Modern Masters series establishes Martell Cordon Bleu as the Cognac of choice among discerning drinkers, through the years.”
