ASIA PACIFIC. MasterCard International, in conjunction with Universitas 21 Global, will hold a forum on “The Future of Travel and Tourism in Asia Pacific” in Hong Kong on 23 August and Singapore on 24 August 2005.
Speakers will include Asian Demographics CEO Dr Clint Laurent and MasterCard Economic Advisor Dr Yuwa Hedrick-Wong, who will share predictive market intelligence and insights on emerging trends. MasterCard International is a member of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).
In other PATA news, a new members-only e-newsletter, CEO Update, will launch on 1 September, with travel industry intelligence, statistics and analysis from the association’s Strategic Intelligence Centre.
PATA members will also be able to air their opinions on issues and trends in the publication’s By Invitation column.
