MCM donates US$20,000 to Japan crisis relief effort

GERMANY. Luxury leathergoods company MCM has donated US$20,000 to the Japanese earthquake relief effort.

Commenting on the donation, Chairperson & CEO Sung-Joo Kim said: “We believe in the significance of social responsibility. We are deeply saddened by this crisis, and endeavour to ameliorate the situation as much as we can.

“It is our duty to help the people of Japan rebuild their lives, rebuild their homes and rebuild their country. MCM has donated US$20,000 to World Vision International to help them provide water, blankets and sanitary supplies as part of their crisis response plan.

“Our love and prayers go to the people of Japan and to those with friends or family residing there.”
