Memo Paris debuts counter at HKIA with The Shilla Duty Free

“We aim to create meaningful connections between the brand and its audience” – Flora Lee

HONG KONG, CHINA. Niche fragrance brand Memo Paris has opened its first counter at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), a key milestone in its travel retail expansion plans.

The counter, located within the Beauty & You by The Shilla Duty Free store in Terminal 1, officially opened on 13 September. Blue Chip Group is Memo Paris’ exclusive distributor in Asia Pacific travel retail.

Memo Paris was founded by husband and wife duo John and Clara Molloy. The brand’s philosophy centres on the concept of fragrance as a journey, crafting scents inspired by global destinations and local raw materials.

According to the brand, each perfume serves as a sensory invitation to explore the memories and emotions tied to far-flung destinations.

Memo Paris’ hero scents include African Leather, Irish Leather and Marfa
The travel-themed counter’s vintage truck design is in line with the brand’s ‘fragrance as a journey’ ethos

The counter’s interactive design — featuring vintage trunks and rich travel-themed visuals — encourages visitors to explore each fragrance as if it were a destination, creating a connection between scent and emotion.

According to the brand, Beauty & You by The Shilla Duty Free is an ideal platform to help it reach a diverse audience at HKIA as it continues its expansion in Asia Pacific travel retail.

Blue Chip Group Managing Director Flora Lee commented: “We aim to create meaningful connections between the brand and its audience.

“Building on the successful launch of the counter, we are excited to continue the journey between Memo Paris and Blue Chip Group.” ✈️
