UAE. Merlin Digital has launched a new range of colourful technology gadgets with a special promotion in partnership with Dubai Duty Free at DXB (Dubai International). The products on offer include the world’s smallest projectors, smart wallets and customised Apple accessories.
The eye-catching lineup of products is on display in a sustainable modular promotional site in Concourse B (Terminal 3) and will be in place until the end of February.
Dubai-based Merlin Digital – which defied COVID-19 to sell US$2.4 million worth of its own-brand products through Dubai Duty Free in 2020 – said this prominent showcase and the unique nature of the new ranges will help give its brand a “global reach”.
Merlin Digital Director and Co-founder Rohit Bachani – who has been selling products through the retailer since 2002 – said: “The only way that the uncertainty of present times can be recovered is by taking bold steps and continuously reinventing ourselves and we are very excited by what we are offering at the moment at Dubai Duty Free. We think that this is a positive growth trajectory for our company.”
The promotional stand features the company’s reinvented portable projector series with the entry line Merlin Cube HD, Cube HD Pro and the top-end 3D Ultra Pocketbeam Pro. Prices range from US$275 to US$650.
The Merlin Projector series includes gadgets which fit into the palm of a hand, have a built-in Netflix app for Android OS and a three-hour battery life. As well as suiting home and traveller use, the projectors can also be used for business presentations using wireless streaming via smartphones, tablets and electronic notebooks.
Bachani said: “The Merlin portable projector design was made with the busy business traveller in mind encompassing several main features, maximum battery life, high screen resolution, all with easy connection facilities with smartphones and with the minimum use of cables.”
Also on show in the promotion are limited-edition customised Apple accessories including Apple AirPods Pro, Pencil 2 and Magic Mouse 2. Each product is painted in vibrant colours, with a hand-crafted finish. The Apple AirPods come in premium leather, neon and metallic finish, including the Black Shimmer Exotic series, which retails at US$679.
Other products available in the new Merlin Digital range are smart wallets which safeguard against RFID theft.
