Michael Kors channels the jet-set for new men’s fragrance

Designer Michael Kors has unveiled a new men’s fragrance, called simply Michael Kors for Men (pictured). It is available exclusively at World Duty Free Group locations until 31 March, after which it will roll out to travel retail worldwide.

The fragrance was inspired by the ultimate jet-setter – a man who is always on the move. The ad campaign aims to capture the glamorous, jet-set lifestyle. Shot in Miami and around the Florida Keys, the video was directed by Amir Mokri and features supermodel Benjamin Eidem and Michael Kors’ muse Karmen Pedaru.

The Michael Kors for Men juice opens on top notes of bergamot, elemi, thyme, black pepper, coriander and star anise. Incense and suede feature in the heart; the base blends patchouli, woods and musk.

“This is for a man who cares about his appearance and really takes effort with his look and style,” noted Trudi Loren, Senior Vice President of Corporate Fragrance Development Worldwide, The Estée Lauder Companies, and the exclusive licensee of Michael Kors fragrances. “We created a fragrance that embodies all of that – a modern, woody, oriental [scent] with top notes of spices and nuances of aromatics that bring this fragrance to life.”

Michael Kors for Men is presented in a heavy, clear glass bottle topped with a black faux horn cap, embellished with chrome accents. The fragrance is available as a 70ml and 120ml edt, priced at £39.50 and £50.50 respectively, in World Duty Free stores.
