FIJI. Global Drinks Ltd-owned Misaka Japanese whisky has made its South Pacific travel retail debut at Nadi International Airport in partnership with Tappoo Duty Free
As reported, Misaka reflects Hong Kong-based Founder & Managing Director Harry Kartasis’s vision to build his own Japanese whisky brand.
The travel retail-exclusive brand is steadily expanding in the channel, following recent listings with Eraman in Malaysia and Muscat Duty Free, where Misaka Whisky made its Middle East debut.
In a social media post, Kartasis hailed the move as a milestone, noting that Fiji has been a target destination and integral to Misaka’s growth strategy since its launch in May 2024.
Kartasis said, “Huge thanks to Kaushal Tappoo for the incredible support and trust, and to our premium distribution partner Platinum Liquids for their dedication to building world-class brands.” ✈
