MMI seeks candidates for key travel retail and category management roles

UAE. Drinks marketing, sales and distribution company Maritime and Mercantile International (MMI) is seeking suitable applicants to fill two key positions: Head of Travel Retail & International and Head of Category Management.

As Head of Travel Retail & International the successful candidate will manage and develop the MMI business to deliver budgeted net profitability. A key goal is to ensure MMI Travel Retail is the preferred supplier for airport, airline, cruise and duty free retail partners.

The position involves growing and managing existing accounts and markets, with strategic planning a key task.

The Head of Category Management will lead the group-wide integration and alignment of all MMI categories to deliver channel and market plans across territories.

The Emirates Group subsidiary pointed out it is “committed to sustainable growth through service excellence and innovative sales and marketing, with the aim of achieving leadership across carefully chosen categories and regional markets”.

MMI has long experience in travel retail, supplying regional duty free retailers and operating Duty Free Dubai Ports.

It partners in joint ventures in Zanzibar, the Maldives, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Thailand and India and has operations over 42 countries across four key regions: East Africa, the Gulf and Middle East, Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia.
