Mona Moona set to spin the Wheel of Fortune – 08/05/08

The Mona Moona Wheel of Fortune is said to intensify the “˜Qi’ within the body

BELGIUM. Belgian costume jewellery brand Mona Moona will unveil its second-generation Invisible Memory collection at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition next week (Stand number: Q5).

Available onboard Singapore Airlines since March, the new Invisible Memory range – small USB flash drives integrated into jewellery pieces – has a more refined design. Entitled Wheel of Fortune, the new collection was created by adopting the smallest thumb drive available in the world, according to the brand.

Measuring as small as 2.6cm in diameter, the new sliding mechanism is said to have improved the ease of pushing and locking the thumb drive when in use.

Love Fire pendants: Listed on Air Arabia

Mona Moona Sales and Marketing Director Helen Kam said: “This gorgeous piece is made with nine colourful gemstone simulants which will intensify the Qi, the vital energy flows, within the body of the individuals and bring health and luck throughout the year. We expect the Wheel of Fortune to lead to a new breakthrough of sales for Mona Moona.”

Also new at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition is a jewellery collection called Beautiful Life. The new collection adopts the concept of free style painting with a mixture of richly coloured gemstone simulants.

Besides Singapore Airlines, Mona Moona has also been listed on Emirates, Air Arabia and Air Oman since April.

Kam said: “The recent success of airline listing in Middle East region further secured our position in the tax free retail market and we are delighted to have our jewelleries sold in over 20 stores in Dubai domestically.

“At the moment, we are still waiting final confirmation for more exciting listings in Middle East and Asia Pacific. It shows continued belief in the brand by duty free retailers and supports Mona Moona’s rapid growth and development on domestic markets worldwide,” she added.
