Moncler extends travel retail reach at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3

UK. Fashion brand Moncler opened its latest travel retail outlet at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 on 30 March.

Travel retail consultancy 2.0 & Partners worked alongside Moncler to execute the brand’s vision for the store, which is located within the T3 airside luxury precinct.

2.0 & Partners Senior Executive VP Marco Passoni said: “This stunning new store is a truly wonderful expression of the Moncler brand experience and a landmark opening for the brand’s travel retail expansion.”

Recently, the Italian luxury brand gained worldwide recognition for its experiential offers: collaborations with Mercedes, Pharrell Williams and Roc Nation; high-profile events like The Art of Genius show at London Fashion Week; as well as stores and pop-ups highlighting its Genius line.

Passoni added, “Moncler has been a leader in generating incredible brand experiences in the luxury sector for a while now, and the new Heathrow Terminal 3 shop displays this expertise perfectly for the travelling shopper.”

The store design captures the essence of Moncler while blending seamlessly with its surroundings. It features LED exterior walls, a marble floor, and gallery-like displays showcasing the latest Moncler collections for customers to explore.

Passoni remarked: “Luxury experiences such as this are a vital part of the travel retail ecosystem, but it is a shame that the UK Government’s continued refusal to reinstate tax-free shopping means brands operating in this market face an uphill battle as the current situation makes it less favourable for shoppers.
“We hope that brilliant brand experiences such as this will not only continue to help build engagement despite these challenges, but will also underline the greater growth potential the sector has to deliver if these restrictions are removed.” ✈
