SINGAPORE. Mondelez World Travel Retail (WTR) has relaunched biscuit brand Oreo at Singapore Changi Airport.
The reintroduction marks a milestone in the brand’s ongoing expansion in Asia Pacific travel retail with Oreo now enjoying prominent permanent visibility across all Changi terminals. Oreo’s new range is available at all The Cocoa Trees stores at the airport, operated by longstanding regional partner FNA Group International.
The travel retail-exclusive (TREX) Oreo range will also be showcased at the airport. It includes the Oreo Tin Box, Oreo Pouch Bag (Original, Mini, Golden, Enrobed and Enrobed White) and Oreo Cookie Case formats, designed to suit both gifting and on-the-go consumption.

According to Mondelez, Oreo’s reintroduction at Changi Airport aligns with travellers’ rising demand for snackable products. Mondelez’s State of Snacking report found that 91% of consumers enjoy a daily snack, with self-consumption accounting for nearly half of biscuit purchases in travel retail. These insights underscore Oreo’s potential to drive incremental growth within the category.
The Changi relaunch is just the beginning of Oreo’s broader regional roll-out.
The brand is set to expand to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, among other key APAC hubs, supported by playful activations, vibrant displays and gift-with-purchase campaigns. These include exclusive Oreo-branded tote bags and travel tags.
According to Mondelez, Oreo is evolving its approach to product development. In line with shifting consumer preferences, the brand recently refreshed its recipe to include more cocoa and less sugar, strengthening its appeal for health-conscious consumers.
“Oreo is a true global icon, beloved by millions and recognised as the world’s number one biscuit brand,” said Mondelez WTR Global Sales Director Carlos Granados Moyano.
“Oreo’s return to Changi Airport reflects our commitment to strengthening the brand’s footprint in APAC travel retail and tapping into the strong demand for snacking in this region.

“Changi is the perfect stage to showcase our exclusive formats and engaging experiences, and we see this as an important milestone as we continue to invest in travel retail across APAC.”
FNA Group International’s Deputy Group CEO Pamela Loo-Song added, “It’s a pleasure to partner with Mondelez World Travel Retail to welcome Oreo back to Changi Airport. Bringing such an iconic and playful brand to The Cocoa Trees stores allows us to offer travellers something special and memorable, right here in Singapore’s gateway to the world.
“We look forward to sharing more Oreo moments with our shoppers from around the globe.” ✈
