Excitingly, the long-established Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference & Awards will embrace Airport Hospitality World from the 2026 edition – the event’s 15th anniversary.
The event will take on an extended form, featuring an exhibition and the ultimate one-stop airport hospitality and food & beverage conference and awards platform. The Moodie Davitt Report is also evaluating a FAB + Hospitality Asia Pacific spin-off. More details to follow.

The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman and FAB creator Martin Moodie said, “Since we pioneered the FAB Conference & Awards in 2011, the event has grown into the key annual gathering of the airport food & beverage sector, a key platform for driving the industry agenda and championing excellence.

“Over recent years both the event and our related FAB title have been extended to include pay-per-use and selected other lounges. Now we are widening the remit to incorporate a whole suite of guest services.
“We plan an exciting publishing programme, including a dedicated section on The Moodie Davitt Report.com – ‘the website that never sleeps’ – plus a dedicated newsletter and even a B2C component. The FAB+ Hospitality Conference & Awards will be similarly enhanced, including a much-extended exhibition element.”
The 2025 edition of FAB will be held in Barcelona, Spain on 25-26 June. It features a blockbuster speaker programme. The FAB Awards will be revealed at the Gala Dinner on 26 June.
“We are already in talks with interested airport hosts for Airport FAB + Hospitality 2026, when we will proudly mark FAB’s 15th anniversary,” said Moodie. “With the addition of all airport lounges and other hospitality providers, it will be a seminal event for our industry.”
Note: The Moodie Davitt Report publishes the FAB Newsletter, which features highlights of openings, events and campaigns from around the world of airport and travel dining.
