GERMANY. Munich Airport posted record passenger traffic in Q1 2014, with the figure of 8.5 million a marginal increase on the same period in 2013.
The number of travellers on intercontinental routes was up nearly +2% to 1.4 million, while European traffic was nearly unchanged at 5 million passengers in total. On domestic routes within Germany, the airport posted a rise of +1% to over 2 million passengers.
