The brand’s first-ever freestanding travel retail corner, at New York JFK Airport Terminal 7, was opened in partnership with Duty Free Americas earlier this year.

This latest NARS opening aims to help make the airport a one-stop-shop for head-to-toe beauty and fashion, according to the company. The outlet features a top-selling assortment of colour and skincare essentials, seasonal collections, make-up tools and travel beauty accessories.

“Suvarnabhumi is one of the busiest airports in Asia, attracting 15 million tourists annually,” noted NARS Cosmetics Chief Executive Officer Louis Desazars. “We see this as a fantastic opportunity to reach a target-right, built-in audience, situate NARS amongst the most sought-after brands, and allow our brand to expand globally and attract market share.”

“It is a real opportunity for the Travel Retail team to launch NARS in Bangkok and put in place a multi-brand strategy in the region,” added Ariel Gentzbourger, Shiseido International Director and Head of Travel Retail. “Our objective is to carry on building the visibility of the brand, which has a very strong presence on the Thailand prestige market.”
