Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR) will spotlight its Kit Kat brand by presenting a new range of exclusive products and in-store promotions at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition next month (stand number: K29).
Heading the offer is the new range of Kit Kat Travel Break Sharing Bags. There are four variants available – Beach Break for holiday travellers, Chic Break for fashion travellers and shoppers, City Break for city-dwellers and Globe Trotting Break for the adventure traveller. Each bag contains 31 mini Kit Kat chocolates, and customers receive a specially designed Kit Kat eye mask with every Travel Break Sharing Bag purchase.

A new global summer promotion will also be highlighted at the Singapore event. Set to run in more than 40 locations, the promotion will offer a free Kit Kat towel to passengers who spend a pre-determined amount on Kit Kat products. The activation will feature merchandising units with a gym, spa or beach theme.
NITR Global Head of Sales Alan Brennan said: “Kit Kat is one of the world’s biggest confectionery brands. [It] plays a pivotal role in global travel retail both for NITR and its retail partners in delivering incremental category growth, through product and thematic innovation with the target to convert more travellers to buyers.”
In addition to promoting Kit Kat’s Travel Break Sharing Bags, NITR will also showcase the new travel retail exclusive 162g Kit Kat Mini Chunky Snack Bag, developed specifically to drive sales at the cash till point.

For its travel retail exclusive Nestlé Swiss brand, NITR has unveiled a new look and new 300g bars and sharing bags. It will also introduce a new 250g gift box of assorted dark chocolates with 54%, 75% and 84% cocoa.
NITR is strengthening the on-shelf visibility of its Nestlé Mix Sharing Bags by introducing a clearer and more distinctive identity to the range.
Smarties gift boxes drawing on the Disney/Pixar films Cars and Frozen will also be highlighted: a glow-in-the-dark Flash McQueen money box for boys and a Frozen-themed jewellery box for girls. The two 114g hexagonal boxes contain eight Smarties mini boxes and come with a ribbon handle.
