BELGIUM. Belgian chocolatier Neuhaus has introduced a fun collection of Easter chocolates inspired by a hen watching over her chocolate eggs.
For children, the company has created small hollow figurines and a wide range of colourful Easter eggs, and for adults there are handmade chocolate-filled eggs.
For Easter, the ballotin – the packaging invented by Neuhaus in 1915 – is filled with a choice of pralines or mini-eggs.
Neuhaus also offers a huge variety of mini Easter eggs. There 15 flavours including a new milk chocolate mini egg filled with cappuccino. The milk chocolate eggs are cappuccino, almond praline, gianduja, spiced speculoos biscuit, fine sea salted caramel, solid and Astrid; the dark eggs are biscuit praline, gianduja, wild strawberry, sugared nougat, vanilla cream, brésilienne nut praline and solid; and a solid white mini egg completes the range.
This Easter, an exclusive artisan nougatine egg is the star item. Exclusively available in kiosks, this product is entirely made by hand and has a nougatine shell coated with a fine layer of gianduja, delicately decorated with dark chocolate and gianduja. The egg is filled with mini eggs and pralines. This egg can be decorated with a huge selection of pralines and filled mini Easter eggs.
Neuhaus is also offering many other chocolate treats, including small gift boxes filled with mini eggs, a Neuhaus selection box, and a metal egg containing 18 eggs or hollow chocolate figurines.
