New joint venture to manage exterior advertising at Macau Airport

CHINA. JCDecaux (China), Macau International Airport Co Ltd (CAM) and Macau-based company HN Group have signed a joint venture partnership – named CNDecaux – to operate and manage the exterior advertising space at Macau International Airport.

JCDecaux in Macau has been managing airport interior advertising at Macau International Airport since 2003. This agreement further cements JCDecaux Group’s position as the market leader in airport advertising, the company said. It is currently operating advertising concessions in 165 airports worldwide in 16 countries.

“CAM and JCDecaux in Macau have had a highly successful partnership for many years and this relationship has fostered the vigorous advertising business growth of interior media network across Macau International Airport,” said CAM Board Chairman Dr Deng Jun.

“With the recent development in exterior airport advertising platform, it further enhances the airport ambience and image, while also positioning Macau International Airport as a renowned international airport encouraging top-tier international brand advertisers.”

Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and co-CEO of JCDecaux, added: “We are delighted that CAM has expanded the partnership agreement with JCDecaux and HN Group. We are now better positioned to employ our expertise in airport advertising solutions unique to Macau International Airport’s indoor and outdoor media environment, extending our reach among international brand advertisers and elite travellers.”

JCDecaux manages these exterior billboards in Macau, strategically located to capture all the tourists and passengers along the road to/from Macau International Airport, the ferry terminal and the bustling Cotai area
