FRANCE. Cognac Otard has redesigned its VSOP as part of a global relaunch of the brand.
The new design, aimed to enhance its premium positioning and emphasise quality, is said to “perfectly balance its image of traditional savoir-faire married to a touch of modernity”.
A clearer layout has been used on the packaging and tasting notes are now featured on the back, along with a picture of the tear-shaped bottle. The product is described as round and mellow, long on the palate, and delicate with subtle floral notes.
The new design will be rolled out to the rest of the range during 2005.
Otard is one of the oldest Cognac brands, and is the only one to mature beneath the vaults of the Château de Cognac.
