INTERNATIONAL. Newmark Retail’s London-based strategic travel retail team has secured over 25 listings on cruise ships, airlines and in airports for Belgian jewellery brand DPT Antwerp (previously Diamanti Per Tutti).
The new locations include Royal Caribbean International, Virgin Voyages, Celebrity Cruises, MSC Cruises and TUI Cruises among others. Additionally, plans are in the pipeline for DPT listings at Abu Dhabi International Airport and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Mauritius.
Newmark Retail and DPT Antwerp will also host a showcase at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Yellow Village H35).
Founded in 2013, DPT Antwerp has 15 standalone boutiques in Antwerp, Belgium; Lille, France; Singapore; Hong Kong and Shanghai, China; and is featured at more than 100 jewellers.
DPT Antwerp aims to further expand globally and strengthen its foothold in Asia and Europe. This year the brand received certification from the Responsible Jewellery Council, the organisation setting sustainability standards for jewellery and watch brands worldwide.
DPT Antwerp has significantly grown in the travel retail channel since its partnership with Newmark Retail began in 2021. The brand now has over 55 placements in airports, cruises and inflight catalogues.
Newmark Retail Executive Managing Director and Head of Travel Retail Simon Black said: “Over the past two years, we have worked with DPT Antwerp to develop its presence globally and increase its footprint in key travel retail destinations where its customers shop – helping it achieve its business goals.
“The travel industry has been an important focus for retailers given its sharp recovery post-pandemic. Brands like DPT Antwerp hugely benefit from this channel as it provides them with opportunities to create global visibility for products and attract new customers from around the world.
“We will continue to support DPT Antwerp with its ambitious plans to secure more locations in the international travel retail market in the coming months.”
Alongside fresh listings, the brand recently celebrated its tenth anniversary by unveiling a branding revamp and an innovative store concept at its flagship outlet in Antwerp. The concept was designed by leading retail sign agency Malherbe Paris.
DPT Antwerp has grown from 28 points of sale in 2019 to 153 in 2023 and is aiming to reach 170 by the end of this year.
