Nice Airport’s T2 Fragonard pop-up |
FRANCE. Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur (ACA) has updated its shops and services at Nice Airport, in time for the summer season. Moët & Chandon is among the latest summer pop-up store portfolio. Travellers in both terminals are being invited to sample Moët Ice Imperial – a Champagne created specially to be served over ice, and enhanced with either mint leaves or lemon zest, according to taste. Spirits lovers will also find temporary Limoncello Pallini installations at both airport terminals.
In T1, passengers are being invited to sample Haribo and M&M confectionery, while T2 is hosting a pop-up store from Grasse fragrance house Fragonard, which is showcasing a limited-edition sweet pea collection.
Travellers wishing to take home a taste of St Tropez can choose from Vilebrequin swimwear – a symbol of French Riviera chic – or indulge in a traditional Tarte Tropézienne.

The Nice Access Fast Track pass costs €10 |
In other news, ACA has created a Nice Access Fast Track pass for those travellers not already in possession of the Club Airport Premier Gold Card. A dedicated lane allows holders to clear security checks faster. Nice Access can be booked online at www.nice.aeroport.fr for €10 per visit. It is initially available only in T2.
Lastly, ACA has joined forces with Navibag, to create a stress-free baggage experience. Once booked online, Navibag collects all luggage from a passenger’s home and delivers it directly to their destination the next day in France, or two days later in Corsica and other European destinations.
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is the second biggest airport operation in France after Paris, with 11.5 million passengers in 2013, 104 direct destinations and 54 scheduled airlines serving 34 countries. Outside Paris, it is the only French airport to offer daily flights to New York and Dubai.
ACA is extensively renovating and extending both terminals at Nice Airport, and in May revealed full details of the location’s retail and F&B tenders.
