GERMANY. Hip-hop influence figures prominently in the new Reebok Club Elite eyewear collection from German supplier NiGuRa Optik.
Targeted at the young and trendy, the latest Reebok models combine sports and fashion “which ideally embodies the lifestyle of the target group”.
“The design of the Club Elite was inspired by the hip-hop scene in New York. The glasses target young people who want their attitude to life to be reflected in their outfit,” the company says.
The sleek, glitzy models are designed to accompany the branded sportswear look which is meant to be paraded at nightclubs – not necessarily during sport. The fashion appeal lies in the sunglasses’ hard, flat temple, which is set off by the sharp RbK logo.
The men’s B 3033 model with a cylindrical shield is available in Silver Mat, Nut Brown and Tar. The women’s B 3034 is available in Winter Wine, Sand Paper and Black Mat.
NiGuRa Optik supplies high-quality prescription eyewear and sunglasses of the brands NiGuRa and ENJOY. It is the worldwide licensee of Reebok, Féraud and Aigner.
