Nuance Australia has launched the new Vetus Purum range from Australian wine brand St Hugo exclusively at its Sydney and Melbourne airport stores.
Produced in extremely limited quantities from fruit sourced from ancient and pure terroir, Vetus Purum will be available in Australian duty free this month before being released to Asia duty free, Hong Kong and China from July.
The new range, which leads with a Cabernet Sauvignon in line with the brand’s first wine launched in 1983, takes its name from the Latin words “˜Vetus’ (meaning ancient) and “˜Purum’ (meaning pure). These words were placed on the family crest of Gramp & Sons by Hugo Gramp in the 1920s to symbolise Hugo’s belief that selecting the finest fruit from ancient and pure terroir was the key to making truly exceptional quality wine, the brand said.
