Nuance extends Center Parcs partnership with six new outlets

UK. Nuance has extended its partnership with leisure group Center Parcs by opening six multi-brand concept stores at the new Woburn Forest location in Bedfordshire.

The new Nuance portfolio includes the following stores: Aquatique (family swimwear & swim accessories), Sportique (sportswear, fashion & footwear), Time for Shade (watches, jewellery & sunglasses), Spirit (lifestyle fashion, outdoor wear & fashion accessories), Just Kids (children’s toys, games & pocket money) and The Store Room (lifestyle gifts, homeware & souvenirs).

The six stores, which offer a variety of 180 high street labels, are located at the new Center Parcs Village, which opened to short break guests on 6 June.

The partnership between Center Parcs and Nuance began in 2008, with a contract extension in 2012. With the latest developments, Nuance now operates 30 stores across five Centre Parcs Villages: Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire; Elveden Forest, Suffolk; Longleat Forest, Wiltshire; Whinfell Forest, Cumbria and Woburn Forest, Bedfordshire.

The swimwear store Aquatique aims to complement the Center Parcs’ signature “˜Subtropical Swimming Paradise’. The store features the new swim accessories POD concept. Some of the brands on offer include Speedo, Zoggs, Superdry, Fat Face, Havaianas, O’Neill and Animal.

Sportique offers footwear plus a wide range of bags, hats, socks and wallets. Brands include Superdry, Animal, Bench, Converse, David & Goliath, Adidas and Puma.

The flagship lifestyle fashion, outdoor wear and accessories store Spirit is located in the village centre, and it offers a range of products for fashion, outdoor wear and accessories. The store encompasses brands including Fat Face, Joules, Cath Kidston, White Stuff, The North Face, Jack Wolfskin, Berghaus, Fossil, Radley and Timberland. Spirit is said to house Nuance’s biggest ever outdoor selection of coats, jackets and accessories at Center Parcs.

Time for Shade features art deco design and offers guests a wide range of sunglasses, timepieces and jewellery. Furthermore, Time for Shade has incorporated the largest ever selection of watches and sunglasses across Center Parcs, said Nuance. The brands include Fossil, DKNY, Rayban, Oakley, Links of London, Emporio Armani, Prada, Gucci, Clogau, Skagen, Guess, Diesel, Ted Baker and Bulova.

The Store Room has been designed in the style of an old English country kitchen. At the heart of the store lies an old fashioned fire place with arm chairs, and the theme is continued with terracotta stone floors and other “homely features”. The Store Room houses Nuance’s largest ever range of British made goods across all categories, including brands such as Wax Lyrical, Emma Bridgewater, Julie Dodsworth, Wild & Wolf, Bomb Cosmetics. Also featured in the store is the largest Cath Kidston shop in shop across Center Parcs.

JustKids is a toy store that encompasses the largest nine-carriage train of any JustKids store. The store is divided into four fun sections. There are interactive floors, child-friendly till points and a space age pocket money corner. Some of the brands include Lego, Tomy, Hasbro, Ty, Character, Vivid and Aurora.
