Nuance works with Copenhagen Airport to revamp shops and strengthen results – 04/02/05

DENMARK. The Nuance Group is working with Copenhagen Airport to revamp and improve the location’s duty free offer.

Speaking at the Global Travel Retail Summit yesterday, organised by DFNI publisher Raven Fox, The Nuance Group Europe CEO Carlo Bernasconi said he hoped that the work at Copenhagen would eventually be seen as a positive example of how problems can be worked through – and a stronger and better retail offer result.

Bernasconi said that retailer and airport authority are working to improve both financial results and the consumer offer. “We told them [the airport authority] that we cannot lose money as we did, and we can’t treat customers as we did.

“We are going to change nearly all our shops. I hope we will succeed and we can one day show the industry that this is another way of doing business.”
