GERMANY. Travel retail technology company Omnevo has appointed Dr Jan Christoph Meyer as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 April.
Meyer joins with more than two decades of international leadership experience spanning operations, supply chain and digital transformation.
His career includes senior roles at Lufthansa Group, LSG Group and Deutsche Bahn, where Omnevo – which provides end-to-end retail technology platforms for airlines, rail operators and airports – noted he led large-scale operational transformation programmes, supply redesigns and enterprise technology initiatives.

Omnevo added that Meyer is recognised for combining strategic leadership with operational execution, building high-performing international teams and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, profitability and growth.
Meyer succeeds Interim CEO Peter Coelho, who will return to his role as Chief Operating Officer following a recent leadership transition, continuing to oversee operations and customer delivery.
As reported, the previous Omnevo CEO Michael Raasch’s departure to take on the Chief Growth Officer position at Tourvest Retail & Catering was announced earlier this month.
Meyer said, “I am excited to join Omnevo at a time when airlines, rail operators and airports are rethinking how retail, ecommerce and onboard services can work together to create better passenger experiences and stronger commercial performance.
“Omnevo’s end-to-end platform and strong industry expertise creates a unique opportunity to help travel operators modernise their retail ecosystems and unlock new ancillary revenue potential.”
Ventiga Capital Partners (primary owner of Omnevo) Managing Director Tom Fitzgerald said, “Jan Christoph possesses a unique combination of operational depth, digital fluency and global perspective, enabling him to navigate complex delivery projects with precision to deliver transformational value for aviation and rail customers.”
