Luxury house Chanel has unveiled its latest makeup collection, Les Beiges Winter Glow, with a snowy, alpine-themed event at its flagship New Bond Street boutique in London.
The Moodie Davitt Report was on location for the VIP event, which was held on 17 January.
The event transformed the top floor of Chanel’s flagship store into a winter wonderland complete with snow-covered pine trees, cosy chalets and even a Chanel gondola.
For the first time, Chanel has reimagined its permanent Les Beiges line into a winter sports-themed range. Featuring pink and rose hues and comprising blushes, lipsticks, hydrating primers and eyeshadow palettes, the collection is designed to create a subtly rosy complexion that gives the impression of having spent a day in the mountains. It is now available in Chanel stores in global travel retail.
At the event, guests were able to enjoy one-on-one makeup consultations with Chanel makeup artists and participate in a snowflake crafting masterclass with Paper & Wood artist Zack McLaughlin.
The Les Beiges Healthy Winter Glow Blush is available in three shades: Mauve Glacé, Rose Polaire and Corail Givré. The blush has a silky formula that delivers a subtle pearlescent glow. All three expressions have been embossed with a snowflake and housed in a rounded compact adorned with the Chanel double-C logo.
The Les Beiges Healthy Winter Glow Primer Hydration and Protection is available in Frosty White, Icy Beige and Light Copper shades. It is made with a creamy formula that quickly absorbs into the skin to liven up winter complexions, blur imperfections and plump the skin.
The formula has been infused with jasmine oil, camelia seed oil and hyaluronic acid to deliver long-lasting hydration. It has also been infused with antioxidant-rich blue algae, which helps protect the skin against external aggressors.
The Les Beiges Healthy Winter Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette comprises five cool rosy and mauve shades; while the Le Vernis nail polish range has been extended with two wintry shades: Glaciale and Skieuse. The former is a snowy white, while the latter is a frosty pink.
The Rouge Coco Baume Winter Glow range comes in four shades: Chilling Pink, Dreamy White, Keep Cool and Cocoon, which are pink, icy mauve and deep brown shades. The lip balms are made with a conditioning formula that glides on and delivers instant hydration. ✈
