UAE. Carrefour has opened its first grocery store at Dubai International (DXB) in partnership with Majid Al Futtaim. The 436sq m outlet is located in Terminal 3 arrivals.
Dubai Airports said the store is designed as a “one stop shop” for arriving travellers, with a range of 3,000 products. These include farm-fresh fruit and vegetables, a food-to-go area with specially-prepared delicacies, self-checkout facilities, as well as a sit-down dining section.
As reported, despite the impact of the pandemic, DXB retained its status as the number one airport for international traffic in 2020 with 25.8 million passengers.
