Origins advocates more Modern Friction – 05/09/06

UK. Origins has expanded its Modern Friction franchise with a new 250ml version for the body. It will be launched internationally this month.

Like the original facial product, the new body version is said to offer a one-step, at-home alternative to clinical micro-dermabrasion. It is claimed to dramatically improve skin’s texture, reduce fine lines and even skin tone.

The product is said to be particularly suitable for those areas of the body that tend to succumb first to the signs of ageing, notably the tops of the arms, the décolletage, the shins and the shoulders.

Key ingredients include purple rice – known for its antioxidant benefits – corn cob extract, a natural exfoliator, and shea butter, for its moisturising properties.

Modern Friction for the Body should be used two to three times per week.

In other news, Origins has introduced three new travel retail exclusive skincare sets. All contain the original 50ml Modern Friction product, a 15ml A Perfect World White Tea Skin Guardian, plus one of three popular 50ml cleansers: either Checks and Balances (for the Start and Balance set); Pure Cream (for the Start and Smooth set) or Never a Dull Moment (for the Start and Renew set).
