CANADA. Airport retailer and restaurateur Paradies Lagardère has extended its collaboration with ARHT Media, a holographic content pioneer, to enhance the consumer experience at Toronto Pearson International Airport, most recently with the unveiling of a holographic Santa Claus at the airport.
The interactive installation is designed not only to entertain but also to serve as an interactive guide for travellers. The holographic Santa Claus introduces travellers to the latest product offerings at Paradies Lagardère stores including iStore, Sweet Maple Market, Discover Canada and Lolë.
An interactive holiday kiosk has been placed next to this holographic display. This kiosk provides detailed information about new products and promotions at Paradies Lagardère. It highlights a QR code that passengers can scan to receive exclusive in-store discounts.
The holographic display will be a permanent fixture at the airport, engaging travellers with a rotating schedule of seasonal, promotional and informative content.
Greater Toronto Airports Authority Chief Commercial Officer Khalil Lamrabet said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Paradies Lagardère and ARHT Media to bring this innovative and engaging technology to Toronto Pearson just before the busy holiday season.
“At Toronto Pearson, we are always excited to improve the passenger experience and provide a better retail journey for everyone who passes through our airport.” ARHT Media Chief Executive Officer Larry O’Reilly commented: “We are thrilled to see our holographic technology come to life at Pearson International Airport. Our goal is to revolutionise how people interact in public spaces, and this installation is a perfect example of that.
“By placing the hologram in a central location within the airport, we aim to reach more travellers and provide them with an unforgettable experience.”
