Paradies secures six-year retail contract extension at Sacramento International Airport – 22/06/07

US. The Paradies Shops has been awarded a six-year extension to its retail contract at Sacramento International Airport (SMF).

The extension will allow Paradies to extend its offer, the company said. The Paradies Shops’ current offer, which includes the PGA Tour Shop, CNBC News and Details (a women’s fine accessories shop), will be complemented by a new store from Brooks Brothers, the country’s oldest clothing retailer.

The shop, located in Terminal A will offer “classically modern” apparel for men and women.

In addition, The Paradies Shops’ own brand, the Capitol TravelMart, will be welcomed as a “˜one-stop shop’ offering an extensive assortment of news, magazines and local merchandise in Terminal B2.

President and CEO Gregg Paradies said: “The Sacramento International Airport has been an outstanding partner for many years and an absolute pleasure to work with. We are honoured to receive this extension and are excited to bring Brooks Brothers and the Capitol TravelMart to Sacramento International Airport.

“Further, I would like to thank our team members in Sacramento for their commitment to the company’s mission statement to exceed the expectations of the travelling public every single day.”

Director of the Sacramento County Airport System, G. Hardy Acree, said: “We are pleased to continue the long and successful relationship between The Paradies Shops and Sacramento International Airport. The new stores will enhance our efforts to provide excellent customer service to the 10.3 million passengers who travel through the airport each year.”
