FRANCE. French beauty house Parfums Christian Dior is introducing a myriad of cosmetics into travel retail stores, including additions to its highly successful Dior Voyage collection.

DIOR BRONZE MONOÃ GELEE
Set to make its debut in Europe in April 2006, this bronzing product moisturises and embellishes the skin and hair with subtle pearl reflections. Dior says it has reinvented Monoï, which is traditionally made from Polynesia’s Tiare flowers soaked in coconut oil (copra oil), by adding the Kau pe flower from the Marquesas Islands. The top notes are Tiare flowers, delicate Kau pe flowers and jasmine, with amber, musk and vanilla base notes. The amber-coloured product is described as pearly, silky, with a soft texture and no greasy after-feel. The packaging is a 125ml tube with a luminous bronze colour. Pricing is €24,46/US$27.

HYDRACTION LINE EXTENSIONS
A number of products will be added to the HydrAction range, launching in Europe/Western Hemisphere in May 2006 and in Asia in June 2006. Using Aquaporin technology and Aquacapt Complex, the products are said to ensure the skin is intensely quenched, visibly pumped and radiant.

– HydrAction Deep Hydration Refreshing Spray: A delicate, light spray provides a sense of refreshment
and comfort throughout the day. It allows make-up to unveil a luminous skin tone and maximise its hold, and instantly moisturises the skin surface and in depth. The fresh, lightly fragranced water has a musky fresh floral scent. The packaging is a 100ml celadon bottle with spray. Pricing: €21.29/US$24.5/JPY2,800.

– HydrAction Intensive Moisture Mask: A moisture mask for use two or three times a week, which is said to offer +102% moisture immediately after application (instrumental test on ten subjects). The mask hydrates and nourishes, erasing all signs of dehydration and gives skin its vitality and suppleness back. It also soothes and calms. The innovative creamy emulsion transforms into an oil after rubbing in the mask and has a musky, fresh floral scent. Packaging is a 75ml celadon tube. Pricing: €28,33/USD 27/JPY3,500.

– HydrAction Deep Hydration Pore Reducing Treatment: The fresh, penetrating gel with a musky, fresh floral scent, moisturises skin with dilated pores, absorbing sebum excesses and regulating the sebum activity. The treatment plumps and enlightens skin, having an immediate and long-lasting effect (instrumental test on ten subjects). It also has a long term-action on pores: a complex of silic and silicon-based powders act in association with the Aquacapt complex to mattify skin and visibly reduce pores right from the application. Packaging is a 20ml tube with nozzle. Pricing: US$29.50/JPY4,200.

Travel Studio Makeup Palette incorporates a new blue and silver design containing the best-selling shades from Dior Makeup

The star product is Dior Beauty Confidential, an envelope-shaped shiny silver zamack palette.

Available in Europe, Africa and Middle East as well as Oceania, DIORKISS comes in two new shades for ultra-shiny lips called Grape Freeze and Snow Cherry. DIOR PLASTIC GLOSS comes in two new shades for lacquered, plumped lips called Paradisiac Pink and Adventurous Brown.

Available in the Western Hemisphere, Asia and Japan, DIORKISS has two new shades for ultra-shiny lips called Fruit Splash and Snow Cherry. DIOR ADDICT ULTRA GLOSS comes in two new shades for extremely glossy lips – A Zest of Sugar and A Drop of Honey.

DIORSHOW Waterproof Mascara comes in a new colour Purple for Western Hemisphere, Asia and Japan.

Travel Studio Makeup Palette
This complete palette incorporates a new blue and silver design containing the best-selling shades from Dior Makeup. Made-to-measure for international travellers, the Travel Studio Makeup Palette is aimed at gift buyers.
