Paton’s launches new share packs for Macadamia Royals

The 275g block bottom bags are designed for maximum on-shelf visibility

Australian confectionery specialist Paton’s is aiming at the ‘snack on the go’ market with its new Macadamia Royals premium share pack.

The 275g block bottom bags of the chocolate-coated, toffee-dipped macadamia nuts are the first share bags produced in the Royals range.

The new packs are designed for maximum on-shelf visibility and feature images of the individually-wrapped chocolates in milk and dark chocolate on the front and a side window. Details of the confectionery are provided in several languages on the reverse.

Macadamia Royals are also available in gift boxes which Paton’s has updated to include more gold colouring to “reflect the premium quality of the contents” and wider coloured bands denoting the flavour.

Paton’s Head of Sales Geoff Henthorn commented: “Paton’s has listened to the retailers who tell us that sharing packs are a popular new format with consumers and we have developed a block bottom pack that displays well in store. Initial reactions from customers have been very positive. They like the designs which really stand out and the fact that the contents are clearly visible.”
