Paton’s secures new airline listings – 23/01/09

Adapting Paton’s souvenir boxes into smaller and more exclusive airline sizes proved to drive inflight success

AUSTRALIA. Paton’s has scored new listings for inflight sales on South African Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Air Namibia, Kenyan Airways and also on board British Airways, starting in March.

The Australian confectionery company reports that the driver behind this growth has been the adaptation of its well-received souvenir boxes to a smaller and more exclusive airline size of 110g.

Virgin Atlantic and British Airways have listed the successful Paton’s Macadamia Royals range in twin 110g dark and milk versions.

Paton’s Business Manager EMEA Nick Diacon said: “Inflight sales represent a key growth area for our business in 2009 and to have secured listings with such prestigious partners as BA and Virgin Atlantic provides a great platform from which to work.”
