UK designer fashion house Paul Smith has appointed retail consultancy Newmark Retail to advise on its growth strategy and leverage opportunities in travel retail.
Paul Smith has more than 130 stores in more than 60 countries. It enjoys a notable travel retail presence, including stores at London Heathrow and Copenhagen airports and Shinsegae Centum Duty Free in Busan, South Korea.

The brand will be exhibiting its fashion & accessories range on the Newmark stand at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Yellow Village, H35).

Newmark Retail Executive Managing Director and Head of Travel Retail Simon Black commented: “Paul Smith is an instantly recognisable brand around the globe and is one of Britain’s greatest designers.
“Our expertise, experience and insight in the travel retail sector gives us so many fantastic opportunities. We are really thrilled to be able to represent such an established brand as it embarks on a growth strategy in this channel.”
Paul Smith CEO Ashley Long added: “We have a historic relationship with Newmark and it’s one we are always looking to build on. Being a part of the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes is an exciting avenue to grow and reach new audiences.”
Newmark’s travel retail team supports airports, train stations, cruise and airline operators around the globe to create and implement forward-thinking commercial strategies, the company said.
