NEW ZEALAND. Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail has unveiled Auckland Airport’s first ever wines & spirits shop-in-shop in partnership with Lagardère AWPL. Located in an Aelia Duty Free store in Auckland Airport’s departures area, the 62sq m space features Pernod Ricard’s new signature modular design.
Initially launching with Jameson Irish whiskey, the boutique features interchangeable furniture, enabling the wines & spirits group to display multiple brands from its portfolio. Plans are already in place to transition the space to Malfy Gin and Chivas Blended Scotch Whisky within the next 12 months.

Pernod Ricard noted the new permanent space adheres to its rigorous sustainability principles, with eco-friendly build materials and inks locally sourced from New Zealand.
The modular shop-in-shop is also Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail’s first within the Pacific region. The drinks company said it is “a significant milestone and underlines its commitment to retail excellence as well as its pioneering spirit”.
