Pernod Ricard heightens travellers’ senses with Gatwick wine promotion

Pernod Ricard Travel Retail EMEA has teamed up with World Duty Free to promote two of its wine brands at London Gatwick Airport.

The immersive pop-up space, in the South Terminal, is running from 17 to 22 November and features Campo Viejo and Jacob’s Creek. Brand ambassadors lead travellers through a guided tasting to discover the aromas and individual flavour characteristics in each wine variety.

One of the featured wines, Campo Viejo Winemaker’s Art, is a travel retail-exclusive. It is crafted from highly-concentrated Tempranillo grapes sourced from vineyards in the Rioja Alta region in Spain. The wine is then matured in oak barrels specifically selected by chief winemaker Elena Adell to preserve its red and dark fruit flavours.

Visitors to the Gatwick pop-up will receive a pair of Riedel glasses when they purchase two bottles of Winemakers’ wines.
