Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail and Chivas Brothers have introduced the latest addition to the ultra-premium Ultimate Cask Collection: Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Pauillac Cask Finish.
The limited-edition travel retail-exclusive blended Scotch whisky launched in selected duty-free locations across the UAE, Asia, Southeast Asia, India, the UK and the Americas in March.
The expression is created by blending a selection of malt and grain whiskies from distilleries across Scotland. The whisky is then fully finished in Pauillac wine casks sourced from one of France’s most esteemed wine-producing regions, imparting full-bodied and refined flavour characteristics.
Bottled at 48% ABV, the Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Pauillac Cask Finish has been developed under the expertise of Chivas Regal Master Blender Sandy Hyslop.
It is presented in the signature 1-litre Chivas Regal glass bottle, embellished with purple and gold flourishes, and housed in a white, purple and gold carton.
The whisky offers rich raspberry coulis and fresh vanilla aromas, blackcurrant jam, lemon curd and spiced plum, with poached pear on the palate. It has a long and complex finish, laced with spicy undertones.
Travellers can discover the Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Pauillac Cask Finish through exclusive activations, guided tastings and in-store experiences that underscore Chivas Regal’s ongoing premiumisation journey.
