Persian Duty Free extends electronics and fashion amid store investment

The electronics department features a range of international brands

IRAN. Persian Duty Free has opened a new electronics accessories department amid investment in its operations at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport.

The retailer said the new department would enhance the offer, adding a range of international brands to serve consumers’ needs. Early trading has been positive, it added.

A spokesperson said: “The continuous additions to our range will stimulate growth and development within the business.”

In related news, the company has reconfigured and remerchandised its Premium Collection department. Brands include Gucci, Dunhill, Rado, Tissot, Balmain, Calvin Klein, Swarovski, Swatch and Flik Flak plus others.

Persian Duty Free said: “The board took the decision to consolidate our premium offer into one specific department, improve our overall range, offer additional expertise when dealing with our customers and ultimately promote the premium theme in a more strategic location.

“We are presently introducing further promotional activity running parallel with additional staff incentives to develop the department. With these initial introductions and the continuous development with our suppliers, this department will grow in stature and credibility and become an integral operation for the Persian Duty Free family.”
