Want to talk about your pet subject?*If you would like to feature (with your pet) in a forthcoming edition of this regular column, please contact Colleen Morgan at Colleen@MoodieDavittReport.com |
The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to bring you the latest edition in our Pet-sonality Profile column, in association with Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
In this regular fun feature, we discover more about travel retail pet-sonalities, their back stories, traits and habits, as well as offering some insights into their owners. Each pet-sonality is also painted digitally by pets and equine artist Sami Moodie.

In this edition we meet King Power Group Chief Executive Officer and APTRA President Sunil Tuli and Spike, his Golden Retriever who is “the epitome of canine charisma”.
Name + nickname: Spike Tuli, also known as Spikey.
Breed: Golden Retriever

How old? At five-and-a-half years old, Spike is entering the prime of life, and I’m right there with him. Youthful partners in crime, navigating the mysteries of treats and naps together.
How did you meet? Our eyes met across the kennel. Spike executed a legendary leap over rivals, claiming the title of ‘Snuggle Spot Sovereign’. It was less a meet-cute and more of a meet-Chewbacca; and that’s when we knew that this ball of fluff belonged in our home.
Love at first sight? More like love at first belly rub!

Quirky habits? Spike is an avid self-admirer, frequently caught gazing into mirrors and windows, convinced that his reflection is the epitome of canine charisma. A true connoisseur of his own charm, I would say.
Funniest and/or nicest moment? That would have to be what we call the sunrise fetch extravaganza, where mistimed throws and acrobatic leaps transform our walks into a canine circus. Each day is greeted with a tail-wagging spectacle that could rival any comedy show, creating laughter-filled mornings that set the tone for the day.
Favourite trick? And treat? Spike holds the esteemed title of ‘Fetch-Master General’ – capable of retrieving balls from impossible places with unmatched enthusiasm. He’s yet to retrieve any gold though. And treat? He specialises in ‘Grandchild Crumb Cleanup Crunchies’, because vacuuming the floor after the grandkids eat is a delicacy only a true connoisseur can appreciate.

Social media account? No.
If Spike could talk what would his first words be? His inaugural speech would probably be a pawsidential decree demanding a constitutional right to continuous snuggles, with occasional breaks for treats and belly rubs. A fluffocracy in the making.
Favourite airport/airline: Spike prefers ‘Barkingham Airpawt’ for the royal treatment, where apparently the skies are full of treats and the inflight entertainment is a never-ending game of fetch.
Anything else we should know? Beware of the pawtastic cuddle attacks. Resistance is futile!
