US. American confectionery firm PEZ Candy has introduced a new line of PEZ collectible dispensers that are claimed to encourage a healthy lifestyle for children.
The new Sport Set dispenses PEZ candy and will be in-store from August 2005. Features include stopwatch, whistle, alarm, quick release strap, clock and lap counter. The product is available in three colour combinations:
·Americana (red, white and blue)
·Baja (blue and orange)
·Desert King (black, yellow and grey)
PEZ was introduced to America in 1952 and is dubbed the original “interactive candy”. PEZ combines candy to eat and share, toys to play with, and a variety of characters to collect and keep.
