INTERNATIONAL. P&G Prestige has named Murat Akyildiz as Region Manager, Prestige Distributor Operations and Travel Retail for Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Canada.
He takes over from Gabe Ragy, who held the role for a short transitional period following the retirement in May of Hans Wohmann after more than 25 years of service.
“Murat comes into this role with outstanding experience in marketing and sales over the last 17 years, both in developed and developing markets,” noted the company. “He has a successful track record of building effective working relationships with retail partners.”
P&G also paid tribute to Wohmann, describing him as a respected authority in the prestige sector. “His expertise and contribution to the development of P&G Prestige has been greatly valued,” added the company. “His friends and colleagues wish him an enjoyable retirement.”
