The Pilgrim women’s fashion scarf gwp |
Danish fashion jewellery house Pilgrim has launched a gwp promotion across Sweden’s airports together with its distribution partner Valora Trade.
The women’s fashion scarf gwp is available at Stockholm Arlanda, Landvetter and Sturup airports. The promotion will continue into 2012 and extend to other travel retail locations.
“Gwps work well in travel retail and we are very happy with this new launch in Sweden,” explained Pilgrim Travel Retail Manager Mette Rohrdanz.
“Our plan is to extend this to other customers in 2012 and continue to develop the gwp concept for travel retail.”
The scarf is given to all customers spending over SKr249. “This is a very attractive offer and is set at a very reasonable price point. It is already proving to drive sales and we are confident customers will be very happy with their free gift,” added Rohrdanz.
Travel retailers are currently carrying the Pilgrim Winter fashion range, together with the brand’s Classic Collection, and sales have been very positive for the last quarter in 2011.
“2011 has been a good and stable year for us and the Classic Collection is proving to be very successful in travel retail,” said Rohrdanz.
“We have created a fantastic branded corner at Arlanda Airport, which enables us to show a wide range of Pilgrim jewellery and watches in a mini-shop concept featuring our bespoke in-store decorations, and we hope to expand this concept to other airports across Europe,” she added.
