KENYA. Plaza Premium Group has opened an exclusive lounge at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.

The opening of the Nairobi Airport lounge featured traditional dance, a proud expression of Kenya’s culture and heritage 

Located on level 2 in Terminal 1D, the 366sq m lounge has a seating capacity of 150. The space was designed to bring passengers comfort and convenience, allowing them to relax, eat, drink, work and refresh.

The lounge’s interior focuses on contemporary African aesthetics, featuring touches of tribal patterns combined with a calming colour palette.

Designed for both leisure and business travellers, the lounge has been fitted with a variety of lounge seating, high-speed wifi, charging stations, dedicated workspaces and showers.

A wide range of food options are also available at the lounge including local and international dishes prepared by its in-house chef.

One of the busiest travel hubs in Africa, Nairobi Airport serves an average of 9 million travellers a year, with 40 airlines operating from the airport. It is also a key destination for more than 200 nationalities.
