CAMBODIA. Global airport hospitality and passenger service solutions provider Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has opened two lounges — Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge — at Cambodia’s newly inaugurated Techo International Airport in Phnom Penh.
Both lounges – which are open to passengers travelling on any of 21 airlines – have been designed to evoke a strong sense of place.

The openings form part of PPG’s continued expansion in Southeast Asia, strengthening its presence in key travel hubs across the region.
The facilities are in line with the airport’s design (by Foster + Partners), which integrates sustainable technologies and other energy-efficient aspects in support of Cambodia’s green development goals.

With a 110-seat capacity, Plaza Premium First debuts in Cambodia following successful launches at major airports in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Vancouver and Jakarta.

The lounge – which boasts an extensive dining zone – combines modern comfort with Cambodian cultural design. It features artwork by renowned artist, architect, interior and landscape designer and sustainability advocate Bill Bensley.
Guests can enjoy signature drinks such as the KTI Passion Mood Mocktail and Passion Paradise Cocktail, as well as private VIP rooms and massage services guided by dedicated Plaza Premium First ambassadors.

The 120-seat Plaza Premium Lounge offers travellers a calm retreat inspired by traditional Cambodian aesthetics. The space features artwork by acclaimed artist Dina Chhan and staff dressed in the Sampot, Cambodia’s national attire.
Menu highlights include local dishes such as Beef Lok Lak and Fish Amok, alongside Pursat Orange Juice and Koh Kroubey Jasmine Tea, connecting travellers to Cambodia’s culinary heritage.

Plaza Premium Group Regional General Manager (Southeast Asia) Cavin Loh said: “The opening of Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge in Phnom Penh reflects Plaza Premium Group’s global direction of expanding our award-winning airport hospitality services into key international gateways.

“Cambodia’s Techo International Airport represents a critical hub in the region and offers exciting opportunities for PPG, given the airport’s expansion plan with two additional runways to be completed in phases, passenger capacity is expected to reach 45 million by 2050.” ✈
